Flipper & Flippr and why listening to some podcasts is bad for your mental health

I have been on the road in my trusty Volvo quite a bit lately and that usually means that I catch up on all the podcasts that I download but rarely get to listen to on time. I will spend hours n the car and then go through one podcast after another and sometimes those podcasts can be from quite a while back.Last week I came across another reason to avoid podcasts (sometimes) .... I was innocently listening to a string of podcasts from the Taking Notes Podcast that had been languishing in my iPod for quite some time. I like that podcast, it is usually well prepared (you can tell, the participants prepare) but this time my buddy Julian Robichaux left something in my head I could not get out of it again - a tune! If you listen to the podcast you can hear him sing the first few bars of the theme song from the TV series "Flipper" from waaaaay back when I was even still young. The rest was all about hard core technology, cutting edge development and allot of Viktor Krantz talking - always a good combination. The song however seriously ruined the geek fest going on in my car though ... ;)
I found myself running around for two days either humming or singing those few bars all the time and it was starting to drive me crazy -on the third day though the evil spell broke and I was my old self again.
This just proves: there should be a rule, policy, or some other legal precedent prohibiting the singing of catchy tunes on technical podcasts. Or maybe some kind of rating like a Podcast rating equivalent for movies rated PG or something to warn potential listeners of the malevolent content. I'm writing my congress man tonight.
